GROS PITON CLIMB ST LUCIA

Here are a few things you need to know before hiking the St Lucia Pitons

Cost of Climbing Gros Piton starts at USD $90 per person, which includes not only the entrance fee, but also the cost of a professional guide (no map needed) and water for the climb (don’t forget to take the water with you).

2 Litres of water recommended

Comfortable clothing is essential for a memorable hike.  This means wearing clothing that is loose fitting or designed for exercise as the air gets thinner at higher altitudes- plus there are a few spots where tight fitting clothing or jeans can make things more strenuous.

  • Comfortable footwear is also highly recommended when hiking Gros or Petit Piton.  Open toed shoes, sandals, and the like can lead to injury, while sneakers or hiking boots will allow for greater comfort and better traction.
