Get Started in Castries

This incredibly memorable tour starts in Castries, the capital of St. Lucia which is located on the island’s northern side. The town is incredibly historic, and also quite picturesque.  You will be able to enjoy the sounds of local music as you travel through Derek Walcott Square, which is named after the island’s poet laureate.

You will also have the opportunity to see the Maasav tree, which is rumored to be an astonishing four hundred years old!  While visiting Castries, you will get to see the remarkable Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and will find that your guide will share with you the story of how the British and French fought over this gem of an island for centuries.

You will have a few moments to take in the majestic view from atop Morne Fortune and to see the location of the famed government house, but then it’s back on the road again, as we still have much to see and do!

Even the Drive Is Amazing!

While riding along the island in your private and air conditioned tour vehicle, you will find yourself amid some of the most astonishing panoramic views of St. Lucia imaginable. This St. Lucia day tour offers incredible views of Marigot Bay, where you can see the yachts in the harbor and take in the beautiful scenery of palm trees and white sands as well as lush, green hillsides. We will make a quick stop at Roseau, one of the island’s famous banana plantations, where you will have the opportunity to sample our local fruit.

Quaint, Historic Fishing Villages

Next up, your tour of St. Lucia moves on to Anse La Raye and Canaries, two of the island’s famed fishing villages.  We have only a limited time to visit, but you will find that no island tour is complete without stopping in this picturesque spot.  The villages are situated within quiet coves located just south of Marigot Bay and that the locals are always waiting with a warm greeting.  You’ll want to have your camera ready to capture some of the amazing French architecture, and you will find yourself with the opportunity to purchase last-minute locally made gifts from the craft stalls located here.

A Wonderful End to a Magical Vacation

There is definitely no shortage of activity on St. Lucia, but if you are really looking for a magical island experience, Soufriere should be atop your destination list. This tour may be a short one, but it certainly doesn’t disappoint, as our final destination is this beautiful former capital. Soufriere is quite famous for its beautiful rain forests, the majestic Piton Mountains, cascading waterfalls, and of course, the world’s only drive-in volcano. Our stop in Soufriere will include some remarkable photo opportunities, whether you like taking in the foliage, want to capture a waterfall on film, or desire to capture an image of the sulphur springs at the volcano.  And who knows, there just might be time to take a dip in these medicinal springs!

One Last Stop for Fun

Any great St. Lucia island tour includes a stop to swim in our beautiful waters, and we have you covered, as either Jalousie Beach or Anse Chastanet Beach will definitely be on our destination list. You will have the chance to take photos of our incredible coral reefs, as well as to capture a unique view of the famous Pitons.  Once the tour is coming to a close, we will have the opportunity for some duty-free shopping in Soufriere before heading out to Hewanorra International Airport, making sure that you have had the chance to create vacation memories that will last you a lifetime!
